GERMAN GLASSPACK REVIEW, COSMIC LAVA!
Mar. 04, 2008 - the Glasspack Administration

Cosmic Lava (Germany) the Glasspack "Dirty Women" Small Stone Records

For me as a huge fan of Black Sabbath I will always associate the title of this album with their genuine track from the 'Technical Ecstasy' record, but THE GLASSPACK have not really much in common with Birmingham's master of heaviness. Kentucky's THE GLASSPACK merge rock 'n' roll, delta blues and heavy rock to create a perfect blend which is explosive like a truckload of dynamite. This is really kick-ass rock 'n' roll, where the blues left a big footprint and it has more energy than all this boring bands, who think about themselves that they kick-ass. Their powerful rock is fresh and full, lending the material a life that frankly it may not otherwise have had. The previous album 'Bridgeburner' didn't impress me much, but 'Dirty Women' is closer to their second album 'Powerkeg', what is their still their best work for me. THE GLASSPACK can write short and explosive cuts, and almost the complete album consists of songs like this, but 'Louisiana Strawberry' showcases that they aren't afraid to write a heavy blues number with a running time of more than ten minutes. 'Dirty' Dave Johnson is not only a cool singer, but also a talented songwriter. His guitar playing is rich on details and always effective, no matter if he comes up with heavy riffs or smoking solos. Of course the other three guys are also doing an amazing job, especially Brian Foor, who's playing keyboard and organ. He's one of the reasons, why THE GLASSPACK is sometimes wandering into Stooges territory, what's always a good choice. A tight rhythm section is the guarantee for a constant mind-blowing punch so that this power blues unit is always so dangerously convincing. I've never seen this band live, but I suppose that they're an amazing and unstoppable force on stage. Meanwhile I'll enjoy this album very often and if you like your rock 'n' roll heavy and bluesy, than THE GLASSPACK is worth checking out. Who needs a flame-thrower when you have a band like this!?-KK March 1st, 2008

THE GLASSPACK ARMY NEWSLETTER JAN. 2008
Jan. 18, 2008 - the Glasspack Administration

Attention,

Happy New Year folks! We're going to jump right into this one by saying the Glasspack is finally coming to Europe! Plane tickets have been purchased by the band and the guys are in the process of extensive training and Louisville shows. Unfortunate for some, the first and exclusive only European show the Glasspack is headlining at the 2008 Roadburn Festival (Afterburner) sold out in one week in December! It sold out before the Pack even had a chance to inform people of ticket pre-sales on-line! The show is the last day of the Roadburn Festival at 013 Pop Centre in Tilburg, Holland on Sunday April 20, 2008. A full line-up of great bands from allover the world will warm the stage for the Pack, including old buddies Sourvein from the States. The Pack enjoys every one of the bands that have been chosen to play the gig. Also on the Roadburn Festival are Down, Celtic Frost, Trouble, Isis, The Groundhogs, Boris, Witchcraft, Dixie Witch, The Heads, Mos Generator, and more. The festival is in it's 13th year and in the past has hosted such acts as Neurosis, Monster Magnet, Melvins, Big Business, Blue Cheer, and Hawkwind.

"We've been trying to come to Europe for a while. DJ Walter (Roadburn) and his partners are bringing us over. In return, we have promised to only play this show for this trip to Europe. We are happy that our first European show is in Holland. The Dutch have always been into the Pack. Along with Walter, we'd also like to thank Bertus Distribution, Small Stone Records, 4 Walls Records, and Stonerrock.com for spreading the word over there for years. As for selling out in a week, I had no idea this would happen and I don't think Walter did either. But in the spirit of the great Louisville Lip, Muhammad Ali, I'll say this. "We're bad and we're fast.""-Dirty Dave Johnson, the Glasspack (for more check www.roadburn.com)

In other news, the Glasspack has willingly handed over a track for the upcoming "Road To Nowhere 2" Compilation on Poison Tree Records in Los Angeles, CA. The compilation is a follow up to last years first version that included Mondo Generator, Fu Manchu, and the Dwarves. Word has it that part 2 of the compilation will include tracks from Fatso Jetson, Ed Mundell of Monster Magnet, and the Chuck Dukowski Sextet. More info will be available at poisontreerecords.com .

the Glasspack's 2002 Small Stone Records' release "Powderkeg" has been re-released on vinyl through Sleeping Village Records in Detroit this year. The damn thing sounds amazing and cover art by Mike Saputo is beautiful and enlarged. The Glasspack is selling these at gigs and online. Sleeping Village is also selling them from their MySpace page. For info, check out www.myspace.com/sleepingvillagerecords .

Planning and brainstorming are underway with the Glasspack and Louisville record label Noise Pollution. Noise Pollution has just celebrated it's 10th year of existence and at one time worked with Dirty's band before the Glasspack, Blacklisted. The Glasspack and the label are teaming up for a special one-off release in the near future. No specifics are ready for the street yet but the band says that they are looking forward to working with a Louisville label again for something special. Noise Pollution has been supportive of most of Dirty's acts throughout. More information will become available at louisvillenoise.com .

That's all folks,

THE GLASSPACK CONFIRMS EUROPEAN GIG!
Sep. 27, 2007 - the Glasspack Administration

Roadburn Magazine/Web/Records/Festival
www.roadburn.com

That's right folks, the door has finally been opened.

As of yesterday, the Glasspack confirmed a deal to play the 13th Annual Roadburn Festival in Holland! The Roadburn Festival is a 3-4 day festival that has hosted such bands as Hawkwind, Neurosis, Monster Magnet, The Melvins, Blue Cheer, Leaf Hound, Orange Goblin, Clutch, The Sword, Big Business, Thrones, Pelican, Sunn O))) and many many others. They're line-ups are world famous for including the best in many genres such as space rock, metal, doom, psych rock, etc...

the Glasspack will be headlining the 2008 Roadburn Festival Afterburner Party in the Green Room at 013 Tilburg, NL on Sunday April 20, 2008 in Holland. The Green Room is one of three of the best room/s/clubs in The Netherlands and hosts the Roadburn Festival. It only holds 400 people so don't play around if you want to see the Pack on your turf. Openers will be announced soon. Tickets go on sale at the end of November. Roadburn.com will be featuring Dirty's story of attending SXSW 2007 in Austin, TX as well as their announcement to have the Glasspack in the next couple weeks.

This is a one-off first time ever gig in Europe just for Roadburn and it's fans of the Glasspack. THE BAND WILL NOT BE TOURING EUROPE ON THIS TRIP BUT WITH THE LANDING IN HOLLAND, FOLKS ARE SURE TO HAVE THEM BACK FOR A TOUR EVENTUALLY. So go show your support for the Glasspack and let people know you want them to tour Europe by attending the festival and screaming "Glasspack come back" over and over throughout their set.

Walter (owner of Roadburn) when asked about having the Glasspack has responded by saying "I am very excited to have the Glasspack, especially since it's their first time in Europe and it's only for Roadburn. I have loved the band for a while and if they want to bring their fast psychedelic sounds and punk attitude to the Roadburn Festival, I am all for it. I want to help them get over here with the possibility of people seeing them and having them come back to tour regularly."

STONERROCK.COM REVIEW
The Glasspack - Dirty Women
Review by John Pegoraro (StonerRock.com)
Small Stone Records
Release date: February 27, 2007

While The Glasspack's last release, 2004's Bridgeburner, was a solid enough album, it was still a bit of a let down. All the usual 'pack ingredients were there – manic boogie blues riffs, drunken lewdness, and a general "Fuck you" attitude that veered on homicidal – but somewhere between concept and execution, it faltered enough to wonder if the band had shot its wad on Powderkeg (which itself was mostly rerecorded tracks from American Exhaust).

Whatever they had lost, they recovered it on Dirty Women, their fourth release and third for Small Stone Records. From start to finish, the album's a focused ass kickin', bourbon drinkin' hell raiser. Whether fast or slow, the best Glasspack songs bustle with a jittery, pent-up energy, and there's plenty of that on Dirty Women.

And unlike some of the tracks on Bridgeburner, the songs on Dirty Women never wear out their welcome. Most underscore the notion that the quickest route between two points is a straight line and get from point A ("the liquor store") to point B ("the party") in under four minutes. The two longer songs - "Ice Cream, but No Reply" and "Louisiana Strawberry" - simply give you more bang for the buck.

Especially the latter. "Louisiana Strawberry," the 11 minute monster that effectively closes the album (there's one more song, the piano-based "Farewell Little Girl," but that strikes me as more of a coda), takes a simple, catchy riff, typical of the band's output, and runs wild with it, tacking on solo after solo until the feedback fades out. That simplicity is the beauty of The Glasspack – they're not trying to do anything other than get you moving, and "Louisiana Strawberry" is guaranteed to get you out of your seat. It's easily one of the greater songs they've written and damn well better be a part of their live set.

For awhile it seemed like The Glasspack was going to be another one of those bands that showed plenty of promise but never fully delivered. Dirty Women corrects that notion. The Glasspack is back. Highly recommended.-John Pegoraro

The plans involve a 2-week east coast tour and then a 3-week rest-of-the country tour. The Glasspack will need additional help and ideas, especially for the east coast. Anyone interested in helping out, please get in touch. Same goes for Europe, anyone interested, get in touch! Dirty is preparing live-recorded music for the Glasspack as well as the Muddy Nasty River demo to be pressed on super nice collectable vinyl as a split. The record will come out on a new label in Detroit called Sleeping Village, more info later. Thanks so much for your time, feel free to post this newsletter however and wherever you like. the Glasspack Army Newsletter Nov. 2006
Nov. 08, 2006 - the Glasspack Administration

Attention Soldiers,
As usual, it's been a while. However, when the Pack is quiet, that's when you know somethings up. This time isn't any different!
First off, we'd like to say thanks to everyone that came to Dirty's Halloween Party at Uncle Pleasant's in Louisville. It was a success and the 4th or 5th year in a row, we can't remember. We'd also like to thank Blade of the Ripper (new CD out now on Devil Doll Records), Stonecutters (new CD out now, self-released), Frank the Magician (this guy is amazing), and of course, Dirty's other band Muddy Nasty River (in the process of writing an album.) More than likely, Dave will be doing another one next year.
In Louisville, in case you haven't noticed, Dave has begun writing a new column monthly for the Louisville Eccentric Observer Weekly(LEO). The column is humorous rock'n'roll advice and self-help lessons for Louisville's musically inclined youth. The column is called "Dirty Rock'N'Roll 101." For those of you interested elsewhere, it can be found on the web at http://www.leoweekly.com . Enjoy.
In Detroit, we have Small Stone Recordings, the label partnered in crime to put out the Glasspack's Recordings. A lot going on there. Small Stone has just made available on-line the second installment of the "Sucking the 70's" compilation. For of those of you who don't know, "Sucking the 70's" is a double-CD compilation dedicated to bands of today re-recording the glorious tunes of the 1970's. This one, entitled "Sucking the 70's: Back in the Saddle Again," is available right now at Small Stone's SECURE on-line store, http://www.smallstone.com . It is only available on-line for the time being. It features such bands as Clutch, Five Horse Johnson, Valis (Screaming Tress), Scott Reeder (of Kyuss), Alabama Thunderpussy, the Glasspack and much more...This isn't the run-of-the-mill shitty sounding compilation, a lot of time and money went into mixing and especially mastering. the Glasspack's version of AC/DC's "Rock'N'Roll Singer" can be found on the second disc, track 4. It also special to us because guests Paul Helvey of Arch & Jason Hayden of Verktum perform on the track as well. It was actually recorded by Jason at his Laundry Room Studio in Louisville and mixed by Monster Magnet drummer Bobby Pantella in New Jersey. We're very proud of it. Anyway, here is the track listing for the entire double-CD set:

And in other Small Stone news, the Glasspack has just COMPLETELY finished the fourth upcoming album, "the Glasspack/Dirty Women," for Small Stone. It is being shipped to the plant next week, and will be back soon for pre-order. The release date is set for Feb. 2007. The album has all new material Dirty has been working on for over a year. It was recorded at Downtown Studios in Louisville, KY and produced by Dirty himself and Downtown Studios owner, Nick Stevens. The normal time for the Glasspack to record a record is a weekend, this one called for a week of recording time. There is one old one, a remake of "Ice Cream, but No Reply" from the first ever Glasspack 2000 release on Better Days, "the Glasspack/Road Warriors' E.P.." And don't worry, this record was recorded on multimillion dollar analog equipment so it wont sound anything like the shitty sounding original. Guests on the record include:
1. Adam Neal, aka "The Rock'N'Roll Outlaw," formerly of Nashville Pussy, The Hookers, and now with Blade of the Ripper.
2. Matt Jaha formerly of Coliseum, The Pusher, and now with Nixon.
3. Brian Foor formerly of the Glasspack and now with Gaj Mustafa Cell.
The artwork was done by Joey Tuscano of SLC band Iota from original photographs that Brett Holsclaw, formerly of the Glasspack, took with Dirty's help. It took a long time to put together and is 100% Glasspack, Dirty even mixed it. The wait should be well worth the quality. The band is working on plans for touring, America and Europe in 2007.
Well, that's all for now. You can buy Glasspack clothing on line, we now have Pay Pal. Just check out our My Space profile, http://www.myspace.com/kentuckymotherfuckers . And also don't forget to check out our sponsors: http://www.fender.com , http://www.motorbrandsclothingusa.com , http://www.shitluckclothing.com .

the Glasspack Army Newsletter June 2006
Jun. 07, 2006 - the Glasspack Administration

Attention Soldiers,

It's been a minute or two, but we got news for ya.

First off, the Glasspack has just finished recording and mixing our 4th full-length release entitled "Dirty Women." the Pack was given full creative control over the entire project and you will notice. A release date is not set but will be sometime this year, brought to you by Small Stone Records, which now has a powerful team of 35 bands around the globe. The recording was done during Derby Week at Louisville's magnificent Downtown Recording Studios. Nick Stevens of Downtown Recording and Dirty Dave produced it, Eric McManus played drums and Chad Omen on the bass. Guests included Adam Neal from the Hookers, Matt Jaha of Nixon, and the good old Brian Foor of past Glasspack fame, now playing in a band called the Gaj Mustafa Cell.

In other news, Dave has been chosen to write a Louisville scene report for Los Angeles based video magazine T.V. Eye. Previous copies were only on video, upcoming issues will include a magazine, which will feature Dave's article on the current state of Louisville's hard rock scene. Past videos included such bands as QOTSA, High on Fire, Mudhoney, The Melvins, Tomahawk, and many more. The video with Dave's article should be available sometime late this year, more than likely available at Ear-X-Tacy because the video has worldwide distribution.

As for shows, the Glasspack has confirmed a headlining spot at the opening party and Jefferson St. Festival for the national Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour. The festival will shut down Jefferson St. between First and Second Streets in downtown Louisville on Wed. June 21. Also on the bill is Philly trio Pearls and Brass (Drag City Records.) The festival goes on all day for free outside, with ramps and dirt on the street for all ages. The later show with the bands will be in Coyote's bar and is 18&OVER. Don't miss the Pack showcasing all those new songs, rarely does the Glasspack play for a crowd younger than 21, legally. the Pack has confirmed a return spot at the annual Stoner Hands of Doom Festival in Mesa, Arizona for Labor Day Weekend in September. Also on the bill are many other Small Stone Recordings bands and the one and only Iota, featuring the Glasspack's webmaster and artist Joey Toscano from SLC. And on this trip the Glasspack will be making a stop in Los Angeles to play with fellow SSR band Sasquatch and film a video for the new album. the Glasspack has also confirmed a spot at this years Forecastle Festival in Louisville at the Mellwood Art Center for the weekend of July 28-29.

As for clothing? the Pack has just scored a new t-shirt account. HEre are the designs for current Glasspack shirts, all which can be ordered directly from the band via this e-mail address, glasspackmusic@yahoo.com . These following stores in Louisville are also carrying Pack clothing and are all located in the Highlands on Bardstown Rd.:

Louisville's LEO Weekly just published an interview with Dave, it can be found at this link: http://www.leovia.com/?q=node/1614 . And a few laughs will definitely follow...

And last but not least, be on the lookout for a new Glasspack MP3 single from the new album and the cover of AC/DC's "Rock'N'Roll Singer" to be included on Small Stone's part 2 of "Suckin' the 70's," double-cd compilation. New MP3s are posted on MySpace.com, http://www.myspace.com/kentuckymotherfuckers .

R.I.P. HUNTER S.
Feb. 24, 2005 - dirtydave

Hey there. the Glasspack would like to take the time to say that Hunter was a great unique man and that the Glasspack and all of our friends in Louisville have always been quite inspired & proud of the party motherfucker, his writings, his general outlook on life, and the fact that he was a Louisville native. We are very sad to see him go. In many ways, he is the part of the Glasspack and Louisville's troubled punk rock youth and in these ways he will live on...so smoke a triple laced joint in his honor, listen to "American Exaust," and keep this in mind when the world starts to look like a robot factory:

"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."-H.S.T.

the Glasspack Army Newsletter (Dec. 2004)
Dec. 22, 2004 - the Glasspack Administration

HEY SOLDIERS!

First off, The Glasspack would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. It's been a while since we gave you a full report on what is going on in the Glasspack world. Here's the breakdown:

THE GUYS!

Dirty Dave has been busy trying to find some shelter before he fades away. He is always looking for freelance design work and has very reasonable prices for designs such as cover art, posters, stickers, buttons, t-shirts, etc... Contact Dirty by e-mail at dirtydave@theglasspack.com . He has just finished the full design package for his side-project, Dirty Bird, and 4 Walls Records. He is writing new material for a new full-length to be recorded sometime 2005 for the Glasspack.

Brett is busy going to school for his video skills and has finished the Glasspack's movie "American ExhaustED" and is selling it from his e-mail clawdad69@yahoo.com . Available on VHS or DVD, the movie features The Captain's view of the Glasspack's first U.S. Tour in the fall of 2001 to support their first full-length "American Exhaust" on Riverock/4 Walls Records.

Todd has been doing a lot of homework and resting. He is practicing for the Slint Reunion to be held February 2005. They are to be curators of the "All Tomorrows Parties" festival in UK and original bass player, Todd Brashear, will not be part of the line-up. They may also be doing a tour, who knows. For more info on the festival check out http://www.atpfestival.com .

A Quote from a 2004 SXSW review
Mar. 29, 2004 - theGlasspack Administration

Dirty thought this quote was so cool, he made us put it on the news page right here...it is inreference to the Glasspack's set at the 2004 SXSW Small Stone Showcase...

"First up was the Glasspack, a Louisville, Kentucky power trio that, thankfully, has nothing in common with that town's infamous arty indie rock scene. The band attacked its songs like a pack of starving wolves taking down a moose..."-Michael Toland (High Bias)

There are a lot of new reviews on the press page, check 'em out...

The Glasspack Army Newsletter March 2004
Mar. 24, 2004 - Dirty Dave

Hey,

this ones straight from me, Dave. Thanks to all of those who helped us down south, you rule. We had a great time at SXSW and met a lot of cool peoples. I lost my hearing in my right ear for two days after seeing High On Fire, the heaviest band in the world. I got a lot of promos and demos, a lot of good stuff. Digital Joe has finished the IOTA demo, holy shit, it rocks so hard. IOTA, imagine Soundgarden jamming with the MC5, every fuckin lable in the world's gonna fight over that band from Salt Lake City! http://www.theGlasspack.com/iota . I also got a Sasquatch promo from Small Stone, very heavy good stuff, they rocked hard and mighty at the SS SXSW Showcase. I also got to see Modey Lemon and Dixie Witch, great bands. And I picked up a copy of Gravity Propulsion System from OKC, spacey stuff but hard as fuck. I like it that way. And ofcourse, the Dirty Bird/Excess Lettuce/Tia Carrera/Glasspack/Terrible One Party show was fuckin crazy, the Glasspack loves Taj. Leland is a sick guy. I heard he stuck his finger in his butt and licked it on stage (Dirty Bird) but I couldn't see due to all the flashes going off in my face. Probably better that way, I like my pizza in my stomach. OUTTA CONTROL. The Ritz in Austin kicks ass.

So you say "Whats coming up next?" A whole bunch of shit, I can't even think straight about it. Lemmy brainstorm for a second: Interview for LEO Weekly in Louisville, March 31st appearance on FOX Sports Net's "Fusion" show, THE GTLASSPACK/BRIDGEBURNER APRIL 27tth ON THE STREET, HERES LIES DIRTY BIRD IS ALMOST FINISHED, appearance on 100.5 FOX April 25 in Louisville, shows in Chicago/Nashville/Louisville, Metal Bikes "Faded Glory" video, recording bass for new Gravitron record, Hoffman Bikes wants a song for ESPN Show, we are recording "RocknRoll Singer" by AC/DC for upcoming Small Stone Record's "Suckin the 70s II" comp., we might do "Earache My Eye" by Cheech and Chong, special features on http://www.StonerRock.com and Http://www.Roadburn.com , possible small tour in Spain and maybe other countries in September, Digital Joe is building the new site, thats all I can think of right now. Oh Yeah, we're havin one of those Kentucky Derby Parties, OUTTA CONTROL.

You can buy the Glasspack's "Bridgeburner" full-length right now at http://www.SmallStone.com and there are lots of new reviews on the press page here at theGlasspack.com, link is below...

Ask what you can do for the Glasspack? Go to the local record store cause they can EASILY get our stuff now (Nail Distribution or Carrot Top Distro), put the word out we need a booking agent that wants to do some work, buy lots of our t-shirts and records at that festival in OHIO in May cause everybody sells our stuff there and the promoter hates us (HaHaHa), order shit from SmallStone.com, turn up your stereos up so loud the car next to you wants to fight cause you cant listen to the Glasspack at low-levels. It might destroy your hearing, but when you lie in the grave, you wont hear anybodies' bullshit anyway...

Rock On!-Dirty Dave

the Glasspack will be playing a show in Indianapolis at the Melody Inn on Nov. 29 for a release party of Indi band Devil to Pay. If you're in the Indi area or anywhere close, try to make it out to the show. They will also be playing in Louisville for a New Year's Eve party at The Rudyard Kipling with fellow Louisville bands Arch and tba. DONT MISS!!!

the Glasspack has had a very productive year recording a new record for Small Stone, touring nearly 15,000 miles, submitting a video to MTV, doing a tv spot for FOX Sports Net Show "Fusion TV," enjoying the release of "American Exhaust" on vinyl, reinforcing the fact that rocknroll aint noise pollution, and IT AINT EVER GONNA DIE. We are also awaiting the releases of the Glasspack CD, Dirty Bird CD/DVD, & Metal Bikes DVD.

The release of the Glasspack's new Small Stone full-length, "Bridgeburner," has been postponed to come out April 2004, next year. The delay is due to a new distribution deal for Small Stone Recordings, which will hopefully make it easier for you to find our stuff in record stores like Bestbuy, Tower, Virgin, Sam Goody, etc.. The "Bridgeburner" is loaded with surprises including 10 brand new tracks, a cover tune, and some special guests from such bands as Big Chief, Raging Slab, and Monster Magnet.

The Glasspack's "American Exhaust" is out and rocking turntables allover the world courtesey of 4 Walls Records. Maybe you can still pick up one of the 400 copies at http://Stonerrock.com or http://4WallsRecords.com . Stonerrock.com will still be having a contest to win one of 10 signed test pressings of "American Exhaust" when the "Bridgeburner" is released. "American Exhaust" on cd is gone, no more copies left...

For those of you awaiting the release of the Dirty Bird's "Here Lies Dirty Bird," please sit tight as it is taking a little while to clean up Dirty and Leland's mess. This one will also come out sometime next year from 4 Walls Records in Chicago.

Digital Joe is about to start working on theGlasspack.com Version 2.0, and you can bet your bottom dollar, it will be out-of-this-fuckin-world. If you want to get one of your photos, audio recordings, and/or video recordings of the Glasspack on the new site for relaunch, please contact DigitalJoe@theGlasspack.com for submission. We have also updated the current site, so head over to http://www.theGlasspack.com and cast another vote for the Glasspack's "Mrs. Satan."

THE GLASSPACK THANKS YOU!!!
Oct. 11, 2003 - DIrtyDave

Hey folks, We made it home after 11,000 miles and 20-something shows all over the country. I just wanted to take the time and say thanks for helping the Glasspack! I also want to apologize to those of you on the EAST COAST. We cancelled Boston because Brett was too sick to play the drums and our equipment/van were starting to sound a bit funny. Philly and Richmond were cancelled due to club renovations. We will come back. We are going to take it easy for a while but we will be in NYC for the Small Stone Showcase on Fri. Oct. 24 at CBGB's and in Hamtramick on Wed. Nov. 12 at Smalls. We have a special treat for CMJ. We have submitted our video for "Mrs. Satan" to MTV for play, please got to http://www.MTV.com to request the video. The Glasspack's new full-length, "Bridgeburner," has been delayed a bit but should be out before Christmas so you can infect your kids with THE ROCK and blame it on Santa. Anyone wishing to pick some of the leftover tour merch, just contact me. We also have a bunch of new soldiers enlisted in the Glasspack Army, so if you wanna trade weblinks, please, by all means, send them.

THE GLASSPACK DONATES TRACK, TIME, AND SET!!!
Mar. 11, 2003 - the Glasspack Administration

Thas right soldiers,

The Glasspack is giving back to the Rudyard Kipling for being the most kick ass venue in Louisville. the Glasspack has donated "Whiskey House (on Oak St.)" to The Mother Lodge Compilation, a double-cd benefit featuring nearly 35 tracks from Louisville bands that donated songs. The proceeds from sales of the double-cd go to help raise money to keep the Rudyard Kipling venue open & rockin'. Some other bands whom donated songs are King Kong, Monkeyboy, My Morning Jacket, Sean Garrison and The Five-Finger Discount, and Speed to Roam. This killer CD is one of a kind and rumor has it that the double-cd package will be as cheap as a single-cd package!!!

To coincide with the release of The Mother Lodge Compilation, Prom Night Productions has booked a fundraiser weekend festival featuring bands from the compilation on Friday March 28 and Saturday March 29 at The Rudyard Kipling venue. We do not have a lot of info on this yet but we do know that the Glasspack and King Kong will be sharing the stage and headlining on the Friday night of the festival fundraiser. SO BRING YOSELF, GET ROCKED, AND HELP RAISE MONEY NEEDED TO KEEP THE RUDYARD KIPLING ROCKING!!! Afterall, where else can you go for an inexpensive evening of local, national, and international rocknroll??? A website has been launched
